The National Payment Agency informs that from 2024 January 2 the country's beekeepers will be able to apply for support - for training, inventory, research, renewal of bee colonies, disease prevention, etc.

Applications for this support will be accepted for one month until January 31, so beekeepers are invited to familiarize themselves with the conditions for receiving support.

The procedure for submission of applications and administration of the beekeeping sector is determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lithuania for 2023-2027. the rules for the implementation of the strategic plan's sectoral intervention measures in the beekeeping sector (Rules), which Rules, relevant for the upcoming acceptance of applications, approved on December 1 of this year.

Honey extractor

A device that rotates the attacked frames of the comb and thus extracts honey from the bees without breaking the comb. The action of honeydew is based on centrifugal force. Inside the honey spinner there are trays for the frames, which rotate as the honey spinner moves, causing the honey to flow out of the frames under the influence of centrifugal force. The combs with the frames remain intact and are returned to the hives. Before turning, the honeycombs are attacked using attack equipment - forks, knives, etc.
